Yoga for Seniors 4 week block with Susan

You are never too old for yoga !

This 4 week block is offered especially for seniors, to help restore and maintain bodily function and mental steadiness and improve overall health and well-being. We will include gentle exercises (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama) and mental techniques in a relaxed, non-competitive and safe setting, aimed at improving muscle strength and flexibility and creating balance in your body and mind.

These classes will be interactive, safe and with no pressure to push your body into positions that are uncomfortable. Modifications to postures will be given to accommodate any specific difficulties. These classes is also suitable for mature beginners. If you’ve felt you would like to try yoga but are put off by the thought of being surrounded by young, flexible bodies, this is the class for you!
